Put an AI agent on your HubSpot tickets and CRM

Runbear works with HubSpot in two ways: as a channel that answers each new ticket in a card on the ticket record, and as a tool your agents use to work with CRM records.

Answer new HubSpot tickets with an agent

  1. 01

    Open the HubSpot tile

On the agent's Chatbots tab, click HubSpot and log in to your HubSpot account. If you have more than one account, select the one to connect.

  2. 02

    Approve access

Review and approve the scopes Runbear asks for, then name the account in the Runbear dashboard and click Add.

  3. 03

    Let new tickets come in

From then on, each new ticket in that account gets the agent's answer in a Runbear card on the ticket record, ready for your team to read.

The agent reads the ticket's subject and description and works out an answer from your knowledge and tools. It doesn't reply in HubSpot inboxes or conversations. The HubSpot channel is included on the Business and Enterprise plans and needs an agent on a runtime other than the default Claude Agent SDK, such as Classic.

Work with HubSpot CRM from Slack or Teams

Add HubSpot from an agent's Tools tab and the agent can search contacts, create deals, and work with CRM objects while it answers in the channel. It connects with a HubSpot private app access token, which you create in your HubSpot settings under Integrations, Private Apps. To set one up, see how to build a no-code AI agent for Slack, or read the guide to connecting HubSpot and Slack.

HubSpot AI agent FAQ

It works in two ways. As a channel, an agent answers each new HubSpot ticket in a Runbear card on the ticket record. As a tool, an agent can search contacts, create deals, and work with CRM objects while it answers in Slack or Microsoft Teams.

No. The agent writes its answer to a Runbear card on the ticket record, where your team can read it. It doesn't read or reply in HubSpot inboxes or conversations.

Each new ticket created in the connected HubSpot account. The agent works from the ticket's subject and description, so a ticket with no description is skipped.

The HubSpot channel is included on the Business and Enterprise plans. It needs an agent on a runtime other than the default Claude Agent SDK, such as Classic, because Claude Agent SDK agents deploy to Slack and Microsoft Teams only.

With a HubSpot private app access token. Create a private app in your HubSpot settings under Integrations, Private Apps, then paste its access token when you add HubSpot from the agent's Tools tab.

Delete the HubSpot connection from the agent's Chatbots tab. To remove Runbear from HubSpot entirely, uninstall it under Settings, Integrations, Connected Apps in HubSpot.

Stop being the bottleneck. Start being the leader.

Your team needs your judgment, not your availability. Let Runbear handle the first pass so you can focus on the work that actually matters.
