Google Ads Report Analysis: Weekly Insights, Ad Copy, and an Action Plan

Compare Google Ads exports, explain the biggest changes, and prepare an HTML action plan for review.

Upload two comparable Google Ads exports. Runbear finds the biggest week-over-week changes, cites the source rows, drafts one supported copy test, and returns an HTML report for review. It works from exports only and never changes the ad account.

What the agent does

  • Performance: Rank the campaigns, ads, and search terms behind the largest changes.
  • Evidence: Show calculations and reporting windows, then label interpretations and missing context.
  • Copy: Turn supplied search themes and approved claims into a draft RSA concept.
  • Plan: Assign owners, measures, and approvals without applying account changes.

When the scheduled review finishes, Runbear posts a short summary and the HTML report.

Open the report for the comparison, caveats, and next step. Account changes still require approval.

Prepare comparable exports

Use two completed weeks from one account. Keep currency, timezone, conversion definitions, and columns consistent.

  • Upload Campaign, Search terms, and Ads exports with IDs, delivery metrics, cost, conversions, and conversion value.
  • Optional: target CPA or ROAS, landing page, and approved or prohibited claims.

Review the week

The Cedar & Loom figures below are fictional.

MetricAug 18–24Aug 25–31Observed change
Cost$5,020$5,340+6.4%
Conversions157154−1.9%
CPA$31.97$34.68+8.5%
Non-brand Search CPA$40.00$50.00+25.0%

Evidence: Non-brand Search cost rose from $2,400 to $2,600 while conversions fell from 60 to 52.

Inference: It drove the account-level CPA increase. One efficient search term supports a small-space RSA test.

Unknown: Device mix, auction data, change history, and headline-level results are missing.

  • Draft RSA: “Desks Made for Small Spaces,” using only the supplied compact-size, cable-tray, and return-policy claims.

Run it every week

Schedule the review after refreshing the exports. Runbear analyzes the uploaded files and returns a short message with an HTML report. If the periods or columns do not match, it stops and tells you what to replace.

Setting it up

  1. Create a Runbear agent named Google Ads Weekly Analyst.
  2. Export and upload matching Campaign, Search terms, and Ads reports for the two completed weeks.
  3. Run one review, then schedule it after the export refresh and use the instruction below.
google-ads-weekly-analyst-instruction.txt
You are the Google Ads Weekly Analyst. Use only the supplied CSV files or pasted tables. You cannot access or change Google Ads. For each run: 1. Confirm the account, currency, timezone, conversion labels, and two completed reporting periods. Stop if the files are stale, incomplete, or not comparable. 2. Compare the Campaign, Search terms, and Ads reports. Show the calculations behind the largest changes. 3. Separate Evidence, Inference, and Unknown. Do not invent targets, causes, benchmarks, or claims. 4. Draft one RSA concept only when the supplied search terms and approved claims support it. 5. Return a short message and attach google-ads-weekly-report.html with the comparison, calculations, evidence, unknowns, owners, success metrics, and next steps. 6. Mark every account action Awaiting approval. Never create, edit, pause, publish, or apply changes to campaigns, ads, keywords, bids, budgets, audiences, conversions, or settings.

Boundaries

  • The agent only uses supplied files. It cannot refresh reports, invent targets or claims, or change Google Ads.
